The Farm Le Mandrie
is located in Montespertoli, Town of
Wine, 21 km. south of Florence and 35 km away from Siena. The Farm dates
back to 1720 and welcomes its guests in two typical Tuscan farmhouses:
one called "Casa Ripalta" and the other one called "Casa Schiavone",
separated one from the other by a small romantic lake where you can also
go fishing.
The houses are divided into apartments, each one of them provided with a
well equipped kitchenette and a bathroom with shower, garden or terrace.
The apartments are furnished in a simple country stile: with old
kneading-throughs, stone and marble sinks and antique tables.
The estate stretches out all around, with 180 hectares of vineyards,
olive-groves and other cultures. From the swimming pool (mt 16,00
x 8,85) you can enjoy a beautiful view of three castles that are situated
on the surroundings hills. The swimming pool is next to the house Ripalta
and about 300mt away from the house Schiavone. Our guests have also the
possibility to vist our small and cosy restaurant where you can
have a good and prosperous breakfast. In the evenings we offer typical
tuscan meals cooked with our olive oil and to wich you can taste
our wine.
Close by you find a sport centre with tennis courts and furthermore, also
in the neighbourhood of Montespertoli there are a few horse stables. At
the farm, at your request, you will be given all useful information
regarding tourist itineraries and the various cultural initiatives in the
area.
You can also reach us by bus, the bus stop is about 300 metres away from
"Casa Ripalta".
